NSW: Rain expected on firefighters parade.
New South Wales firefighters spent weeks battling bushfires over Christmas but nowit looks like it will rain on the parade honouring their efforts.
The Bureau of Meteorology says there will almost certainly be rain and possibly thunderstormat the Bushfire Fighters Parade through Sydney on Friday.
The parade is due to start at 11.15am (AEDT) at the corner of George and Alfred Streetsat Circular Quay and will move towards Darling Harbour via the city centre.
